Who am I?
I am a Family and Community Medicine physician. I studied at the University of Medicine in Barcelona, and after completing my studies, I worked in hospital emergency services for three years.
When I was studying, and later when I was attending patients in the emergency department, I often observed how their illnesses were becoming chronic. It was then that I realized that there were things that didn't make sense. We were only treating the symptoms, and I knew that something was amiss in the conventional medical system.
So I began to study Naturopathic Medicine, Neural Therapy, Psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology (PNIE), and started working as a specialist in Integrative Medicine, where I finally found my place.
Due to my endometriosis diagnosis
These past four years have been difficult for me. The tests I underwent revealed that I was in a very advanced stage of the disease, requiring delicate surgical treatment. This illness caused me so much pain that it severely affected my health, completely limiting my life.
I began a treatment that integrated conventional and functional medicine, which allowed me to reduce the endometriosis to the point of avoiding major surgery. Now, I can say that my quality of life has completely changed, and I live without pain, even without using hormonal treatment.
I am certain that this personal experience made me more aware of how women silently suffer, how endometriosis and adenomyosis are not openly discussed, and how many other conditions go unspoken out of fear of not being understood. So, I made a promise to myself that I would try to help women regain the lives they had lost due to these illnesses.
As a result, I have decided that now is the time to share with the world how we can improve our health and achieve a better quality of life, especially in helping those women who suffer from this condition. I aim to help them finally attain a fulfilling life in which they can feel good about themselves and be happier, enjoying every moment without limitations.
